Before becoming a real estate professional, Carol had been both a Buyer and a Seller numerous times. She knows how important it is for your Realtor to be a member of your Team. Her energy and enthusiasm will be evident the first time you meet her. Carol believes that developing strong relationships is the key to a successful transaction.
In the first year of her career, Carol completed the 96-hour Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) training. It was very important to have a full understanding of the real estate transaction process to provide the highest level of service. Later on, Carol earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation which is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. When buying a home, it is critical to have someone on your side, looking out for your best interest and aggressively negotiating on your behalf.
Carol was very proud to have been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation in 2006. This is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field which requires a minimum of $25 million in production and 10 units of education. Fewer than 4 percent of all REALTORS hold the CRS Designation.
As an avid web user, Carol trained and achieved the e-PRO designation, endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS. Being an e-PRO allows Carol to help those clients who like using the on-line tools and technology to meet their real estate needs. Most recently, Carol has expanded her knowledge due to the changing economy and real estate market. She has become a Certified Foreclosure Prevention Consultant in order to help those facing foreclosure understand their options. She can effectively consult homeowners and help them work with their bank to avoid foreclosure. In addition, she is a Pre-Foreclosure Specialist (PSC). This focused training allows her to help both buyers and sellers navigate the challenging short sale process. Her knowledge and experience with Bank Owned properties (REO's) insures potential buyers understand the unique issues that make this type of transaction different from a usual real estate purchase.
